USA is one of the world’s major three country producing cotton and greatest country exporting it. It is difficult to stabilize quality and yield of cotton because of weather. However, COTTON USA™ can supply good quality cotton stably by large and fertile soil, high-technology farming systems. Furthermore, USA cotton industry promise “sustainable producing cotton” considered economic, environment and CSR. And, they keep effort to improve various problems in industry-wide.

私達は、世界的な認証を取得しているオーガニックコットンを積極的に選択しています。
そのオーガニックコットンの認証とは、国際基準策定機関によって、原料の収穫から環境に優しく社会的に責任のある製造を経た『繊維製品が正しくオーガニックである』という世界的なルールです。
オーガニックコットンは厳しい基準に従って有機栽培される綿花ですが、通常のコットンと比較して農薬や合成肥料の成分が検出されるほどの差はありません。そこでそのコットンが正しくオーガニックな農法で栽培されたかどうかを確認するため、認証を受ける必要があります。
COLLECT DENIM select organic cotton certificated by global standard. The certification is proof that “This product is exactly made by organic cotton”.
Certification standard is decided strictly and all process are must be sustainable and earth-friendly.
Organic cotton is cultivated based on strictly rule but there is no big difference except for being detected pesticide residue. That’s why it is important to get certification which a cotton is cultivated by correct organic farming.
インディゴロープ染色
Indigo rope Dyeing
デニムの最大の魅力は、言わずもがな”インディゴブルー”であろう。
そして、それはデニム独自の染色方法であるインディゴロープ染色でのみ表現することができる。インディゴロープ染色とは、ロープ状に束ねられた糸がインディゴ染料の入った液槽を幾槽も通過する過程で、糸が空気に触れ酸化することで鮮やかなインディゴブルーに染め上がっていく染色方法である。そして私達は、重要な染色パートナーのうちの一社である坂本デニム㈱の環境に配慮したエコ染色システムを積極的に選択しています。
坂本デニムでは、染色に、洗浄効果の高い電解水を使用することで、従来常識的に使用してきた大量の洗浄薬剤や温水を使わないことを可能とし、排水処理への負荷低減やCO2削減を実現しました。私達が、彼らを選択する理由がここにある。
“INDIGO BLUE” is most attractive character of denim. It’s created by only distinctive dyeing method of denim – “rope dyeing”.
“Rope dyeing” is - Bundled yarn like rope is soaked to indigo vat and passed through in it repeatedly. In this process, indigo is oxidized on exposure to air and dye yarn to beautiful blue gradually.
