江戸時代以降、干拓地となった児島地区一帯では、塩分に強い綿花栽培が盛んになったことで繊維産業が発展することとなった。そして明治時代に入ると、倉敷には最新鋭の紡績設備を備えた『倉敷紡績所』（現.クラボウ）が創設されたことで、繊維産業が大きく発展することとなった。1900年代半ばになると、学生服の生産が最盛期を迎え、児島の繊維産業を支える根幹となっていく。瀬戸内は、永い歴史の中で木綿の織りや縫製技術を産業の基盤に、今なお発展を続けている繊維のまちです。私達は、瀬戸内に存在するデニムファブリックメーカーです。

Then, in the Meiji era, the textile industry was greatly developed by the establishment of "Kurabo Industries" (currently Kurabo Industries) equipped with the latest spinning equipment in Kurashiki. In the mid-1900s, the production of school uniforms reached its peak and became the basis for supporting the textile industry in Kojima. Setouchi is a textile town that is still developing with cotton weaving and sewing technology as the foundation of its industry over its long history.
